One of our Moodle admins reported that, "Since last evening, [one particular] Moodle site has been very slow, and I have been timed out on a few occasions. The other 3 sites including Dev are fine. "

I tried the site now, and it seemed fine.
In case you find a particular page slow, that could be because of the content of that page. For eg. having a large amount of content on a single page, or having a lot of active elements on a single page, etc. Another possible fix might be to log out, clear site data from your browser, and log in.
Another possible reason could be that the time at which you log in might coincide with the forum email processing time or something like that - at which time the site would be busy.
