Godaddy to Nettigritty
The procedure was given here - https://www.nettigritty.com/kb/domains/how-to-transfer-your-domain-name-from-godaddy-to-nettigritty/
with the difference that there was no "approve transfer" option, we got an email from Nettigritty that the transfer was complete on March 10th (we had initiated the process on March 5th).
1. Turn off domain lock at Godaddy - log in, go to the relevant domain, click on Manage, and turn off the domain lock
2. Get the transfer key - "transfer the domain away from godaddy" - get authorization code - EPP/Auth code will be displayed and emailed to the registrant’s email.
3. Go to Nettigritty domain transfer page after logging in, enter the domain name and EPP Auth code for the transfer in, make payment
4. Wait 5-7 days for Godaddy to release the domain following which Nettigritty sends an email confirmation.
One account to another within Nettigritty
Copy-pasting from Nettigritty's docs -
- Login to your Control Panel, search for the domain name for which you have purchased this Order and go to the Order Information view.
- Click the Move Services link on the top right-hand side of the screen, to initiate the process.
- Here, you would have to mention the following details:
New Customer's ID: The Customer ID is a unique number associated with a Customer's Profile. If you do not know the Customer ID of the new Account, you can locate it in the Profile Details view in the new Customer Control Panel.
New Customer's username: Mention the Customer Username (Email Address) of the Customer Account where you wish to move the Order. - Click the Move services to other Customer button.
- Confirm that the Customer account to which you are moving this Order, is the one you really intend to and click the Confirm and Move button.
This move was almost instant, free of charge, and the validity of the domains remained the same after the transfer from one account to another.
