Macdroid for USB transfers, but only free for Android to Mac -
JustBeamIt - works over wifi? but very slow, and link times out after 10 minutes. <1 Mbps. Suitable only for small files.
Filesharing - maybe if we connect both machines with wired connections (Android phone connected via USB to Linux box, and that to Mac with wired LAN), this might be fastest.
